I have a RHD JDM STI. Will your kit fit? would i have to get the 2.5 oil pan? any DP mods? I'd be interested to hear. Also since im only 2L do you have any smaller turbo's available for this kit? Thanks.

Thanks alot for your interest in our kits. Unfortunately, we have not yet test-fitted our kit in a RHD subaru. We do have a few international customers with RHD subarus, but they opted to use our complete kit but make their own up pipe/downpipe.

For a 2.0L engine and a 2.5L, i strongly recommend using our twinscroll 35R kit. This will offer the broadest/widest powerband, spooling the 35R before 4000rpm, and have instant throttle response.

Let me know if you have any other questions! thanks

PS -- the new issue of modified is now on newstands and in mailboxes! read the articles for more info on our twinscroll 35R kit

Great info. I find it quite interesting that even on the 2.0L you recommend the 35R...especially with its big hotside. I used to think the 30R was the go-to turbo for 2.0L and under for street use and response.

Does the twin scroll 35R spool that quickly that you guys stopped offering the 30R?

Hey Geoff!!!!

Is it the July or August issue? I can't find the July issue anywhere, and the August issue is out already....

Does it have the whole Time Attack Competition coverage and an article on PZero's car???

I feel like a kid waiting for Sports Illustrated's swim suit issue to show up in the mail.

You are 100% correct. The full-race turbokit is more efficient and moves much more exhaust gas (with less energy loss) than any of our competitor's turbo systems. Despite the large turbine housing A/R, the Full-Race twinscroll will spool faster than any similarly sized turbocharger with a smaller turbine housing, yet be more responsive and produce a broader powerband, with more area under the curve.

The reason we stopped offering the 30R is that the twinscroll 35R is simply a perfect for this platform/engine configuration. It spools very fast (power by 3200 rpm) has huge midrange power with gobs of early torque that carries to redline. As our two drivers noted when they first got in the car "its the fastest autocross car ive ever been in, it has huge power everywhere".

PS -- I still like the 30R as the "go to turbo" for engines that breathe and flow poorly, such as the redtop SR20DET, 3SGTE MR2 engines, RB25DET, etc. The EJ engine is a much better engine than most everyone gives it credit for.

Full Race,

Do you have any dyno charts? I'm considering this for my build and I was looking at the 30R b/c of the spool, but this 35R has the power I want. I'm looking for a turbo that hits full boost (~20 psi before 4k) on a built shortblock / stock heads / aftermarket cams EJ257 STI motor that's going in my wagon...

Thanks!

EDIT: I just scrolled and saw the dyno charts posted... oops...

if you are looking for full boost before 4k and solid power, the twinscroll 35R is definitely my recommendation. If you have a barnes and noble bookstore or blockbuster video near you, go grab the latest issue of modified mag and read the first two articles in the magazine by Mike Speck and Brady Dohrmann (both professional drivers) to get their input

Regarding dyno charts -- we actually got quite a bit of testing done this weekend in preparation for the USCC (ultimate street car challenge) and will have plenty more dynos to post at the end of this week. feel free to email me with any specific questions
