thanks alot -- come check us out some time, ahwatukee isnt far! the R34 is the manager at FR's daily driver. the green car is our drift driver's backup car (in case the S14 has a mishap). he is super good tho, D1, FormulaD, nopi, one of the top drifters on the circuit right now. cool that he is getting out to local events and helping some of the grassroots drifters

Ill get some more pics up on monday! motor is a stock sleeve block with cosworth crank, rods, pistons and heads/cams. I definitely recommend sticking with the stock sleeves!

Yep! If you look at mylaps.com it's under "Modified Magazine Time Attack" in the link above!

Oddly, there's no Name on the Full-Race car, which is in the #1 position!

But then again, this was a customer's daily driven car...

I haven't been able to find any other stats for the other events, but the daily driven, stock interior car had the best time out of all the full race prepped vehicles! Just imagine what you could do with a a dedicated time attack car!!!!!!!

Here's a vid of the autocross (the link has vids of time attack, drag, and this is the auto cross)
Justin.tv - Modified Magazine Tuner Shootout (Auto X) - LIC Motorsports - Live Streaming Video

They are ridiculously long, but the full-race car does it's first at the 1:04:07 mark

Pretty sad that NO credit was given to the car owner who paid for everything on his own

glad to see you guys on here. i was just reading some stuff yesterday about you guys products and theres no proof that full race products are better than others and they dont even have a sti shop car and all this stuff but i guess you guys do! also like to see the dyno and compare it to other companies.

You guys did great at this event with one of your gracious customer’s car and your track attitude was top notch as well. We look forward to competing against another quick Subie that helps support the Subaru brand.

Long live the fraternity of STI!

Also very interested in the results.

Too bad you don't have a kit for the LGT, I know the manifold/UP will work, but the FMIC and the rest of stuff is nice too.

the best et was 11.3@128, but we went 129 on the run before that

The original plan was that my R14 was going to be in the event, but I had a camshaft break and bend some valves so it was out. I called pete at the last second (monday morning!!) and said "get out here!! We actually had planned on not entering the modified event at all and so we were running the car anonomously. I just needed some data, and he was getting some loose ends wrapped up. We went to the dyno suddenly there were stickers put on the car, and then we went to the autox and before we knew it, the problem was that we were 2nd overall going into the time attack, which we knew was going to be our strongest session. When you find yourself accidentally in 2nd place, its hard to not finish .. We really werent even remotely prepared for this. but when we realized how competitive the car really was the decision was made to race it. i updated my first post with his story

pete had actually asked me not to mention him so that USCC would still have the story. Weve been honest in telling everyone it was an owners car, unbeeeliveable build quality, its the ideal test platform. privateer 100%. sorry guys, didnt mean to offend anyone. ill see him tomorrow i think he's ok tho?

thanks alot guys, really appreciate your helping us out. Hope to see you at some more events in the future, no idea what we will be driving tho, it changes too often lol. Im hoping its this STI tho! unbelieveable how strong subarus can run, a 32-34GTR fully built doesnt have much advantage if any over this thing. it really blew my mind how good this chassis feels. btw will you be at your shop tomorrow? Im in cali picking up some clips right now, hope you are open on saturdays!

we do have a hardcore customer doing an LGT install at the moment, there are a number of differences from the WRX/STI engine bay which complicate matters a bit, but we may have something in the future. Unfortunately the only option that exists at the moment is to get a competent mechanic/fabricator to install the kit, with modifications required.

One day I will see a dyno chart of the 3071 on race gas or meth injection.

I just hope it happens before I am that person. (which won't happen til my next car which is a few years away)

after seeing the results we did, i really recommending checking out some of the smaller t4 twinscroll turbochargers. The subaru engines have relatively large displacements for a 4 cyl and the heads are much better than most give them credit for, so the results we've seen of spooling moderately large turbos by an early rpm should not be all that surprising.

i really think the twinscroll t4 gt35R kit is really our "optimal" kit offering a huge powerband with 15psi by 3000rpm.. we will have more data on an almost stock engine within the next week

15 psi by 3,000 on an engine that is not stock, right.

I want 15 psi or better on an internally stock engine (not in 4th or 5th gear either, in 3rd).

I am waiting.

Thanks for the up-dates.
