Default oil in intercooler piping?

i just got a turbo installed from my tuner, he told me that oil was leaking in the IC piping. Now my question is, is the turbo bad or defected? Is it a big problem i need to worry about or is it a easy patch up?

I'm not sure about this, but I thought that oil blow-by was quite common in our cars. The only thing you'd need to do is get a catch can install and you should be fine.
But don't go by my word though, I'm sure the more knowledgable people will chime in soon

Normal to have oil in IC and piping. We return our head and crankcase vents to our intake. When you run higher than stock boost levels you have a tendency to get more oil. An oil catch can or a true air/oil seperator will reduce or eliminate this oil you are seeing.

^^^Exaclty its normal for some.. But like JNprn said when you start running way higher boost levels its a real good idea to get a tru Air/oil Sep like the Crawford or the Element..
