Default Funky spool sound

Ever since I got this stromung shorty Dp installed on my 06 STi, the turbo spool sounded funny. The funny spool sound is off and on too. The more I think about it, it might only happen when the car is cold. The shop that installed it used new gaskets I got from the dealership. I have also removed and reattached the CB while looking for leaks.

Here is a clip of the funky spool sound...

And here is another one 5 mins later. Now it sounds normal...

Im just worried this isnt a good sound. Anyone have any thoughts?

try checking the downpipe bolts ( the tightness) also check your up pipe and header bolts sounds like a leak, most of the time you can tell where the exhaust leak is when there is some black soot around the flange

My local suby shop Garage Tuning found the issue. My stock UP gasket was leaking. Problem solved thanks to Kevin at Garage Tuning.
