New Maddad Whisper vs. Invidia N1 with Video

Just got my new Maddad CBE in today. It won't be installed untill tomorrow morning. It is a sexy piece. When it comes to quality rich at Daddysscp will not let you down.

It's a Maddad Whisper single tip CBE. I'm running a Maddad metal Bellmouth DP (catted).

My current setup is the Maddad DP and a Invidia N1 Street CBE. I just had my girlfriend take a video of my current setup so that I know how it sounds... I'll get a new video up tomorrow or so with the Whisper.

Man I love the sound of that Invidia.. Too bad the police don't like it as much as I do.

Edit: WOW... What a change. I give it to Rich at Daddys, the Whisper gets rid of the Highway drone and even though it is quiet, I can still hear the nice Rumble. I'm still getting used to the new sound but I think it is much more cop friendly. The exhaust fit like a glove. I'm over all very impressed.

Got mine the other day too, the exhaust is definitely one of the more quality ones I have seen. Its a shame I don't have time to get a tune (I don't trust OTS) until about a month from now. Oh well, It should sound great when its in.

My set up is going to be Invidia V2 catless (wrapped), maddad whisper, and a APS 65mm CAI.

wow.... thats pretty quiet......
just wondering.... how much louder do you think it is comparing to stock?

Hmm. Well I'm running a full 3inch TBE but it does have a cat.

I don't know if I can say it is louder but it is a nicer note. At first I was a little sad when I took off. I missed the N1 sound but then I noticed this still had the nice rumble. SO I would say there is a much deeper and nicer rumble. It is almost like it took what we loved about the stock exhaust and made that part more noticeable without the annoying drone that some exhausts give. It has sweet spots. At idle it sounds awesome and then when you don't want to hear it (3k rpms) on the highway with the windows up you can barely hear it. When you stretch your leg a bit it sounds aggressive like a STI Should.

I had to take a 40min trip in the STi today so that I can enjoy it. One thing I do love is that I can pass someone on the highway with waking up the girlfriend in the passengers seat. Not many people with non-stock exhaust can say that.

I love my whisper, but I have the dual tip and I've noticed a different "growl" when I get on the gas compared to the single tip whisper. Rich mentioned this to me before too...it's sounds a bit more aggressive than the single tip.

Oh how I love my exhaust.
