the leak was at the up-pipe to turbo connection, not the header. well, first there was one, but once everything was tightened up there was none on the header anymore.

for your sake, i hope that's not it.
if that one's not tightened properly, and rattling, you might have some expensive repairs around the corner.

well went back today. He said nothen to be concerned about its just my clutch cover. He said hes had a bunch of stis/wrx have this happen. Just raddles a bit. We found this out by pushing in the clutch when the sound happend it would go away. This made me wonder the state of my clutch but he said its fine your clutch is the way it should be. He drove it around to make sure of this.

What clutch do you have? Is it a typical chatter type sound? I'm confused.

well im stock. He said its the cover making that noise. I jumped on it saying well is my clutch gonna go? he said no way. He drove it around made sure it was slipping all that great ness. We lifted the car retightend all the bolts on the headers everything. All was good. The way he new it was the cover was because how the raddle was comming about. When the raddle was heard (1st gear taking off) the clutch was quickly pushed in and it went away. Kept driving around listening for it and kept doing the same thing so he said thats what it is no worries. He said if i wanted that sound gone i could just replace the clutch and it would be gone. He just said sometimes some subarus do that. lucky me i guess haha.
