As others have said.., this does worry me as an 07 owner. However, i can vouch where my car is at right now.... and i havent had any problems

12/09/2006 - Bought the car
04/15/2007 - Went Cobb Stage 2, OTS Map, 8,xxx miles.
04/29/2008 - Roughly 26,000 miles on the car, and no issues so far. I drive the car hard, have done autoX 5 times or so, 1 quasi track day, and when i drive to work, it is at 80 mph usually, so the revs are just over 3K in 6th gear.

I dont have any issues YET, but if it does go., i guess that means built block and a widebody kit?

add me to the list of 07s with issues. ran some tests with my laptop and showed knock issues, compression test shows cylinder 3 is down. lightly modded, not raced, grandma'd 95% of its life. 11,000 miles.

with regards to the lean figures recorded for the 07....are those numbers measured from the exhaust?

Yeah can confirm it with a wideband which is usually typically mounting in the downpipe right after the turbo.

Hmm..

If you had an 07 , would you be able to solve the problem and prevent it with COBB AP??

well couldn't those lean numbers from the exhaust be caused by the secondary air injection??
