Yes. You select the parameters (there's like 100) you want to monitor and it records them. There's a limited amount of data that can be read/transferred/whatever at a time so the less parameters you log, the higher the resolution.

Do you guys really think its worth going from a Cobb stage one (which I already paid for...) to the gabedude map? Besides the "feel of your pants" upgrade, the main reason I went cobb was fear of my car blowing up on the stock map. Man, this thread is freaking me out. So far so good on my 07 with 12,000 miles, 95% grandma driving. I just want to keep it that way

You can always sell an AP for most of what you payed for it.

remember the A/F numbers if pulled from the exhaust will be skewed by the secondary air injection...especially on hard pulls as it kicks in to oxygenate the exhaust gases...

So you've never flashed you're car before? Just flash stage one and you'll see why you want it. Just feels sooo much smother in comparison. I say do it! Or protune idealy...

Do it! do it! I would run my car any other way besides a custom protune.

You need to find out what kind of break in is proper for your situation. Any time you have new components in an engine, you need to follow some kind of break in routine. I dont see the stock tune hurting you at all during this time.

If I remember right, didnt your stuff blow while you were on the AP stg 1? If so, you may want to invest in a Tactrix cable (70-90 bucks), and Gabes free stage 1 map. His primary concern was high knock, and he got it down to a very reasonable level.
