Default How good are the stock spark plugs for the 07 STi?

Just curious what you guys think of the stock spark plugs for 07 STi.
My 07 STi is gonna get a retune (because the last tuner sucks) and I was thinking of changing the plugs before the new protune. I am currently just running a stage 2 with 25,000.00 miles on the motor. I have had some bad fuel issue in the past but not frequent. California 91 is certainly not the best, but its all we got to play with here. Just wondering if a spark plug change is really necessary. Any input would be helpful.

Ask your tuner. On a Stage 2 OTS map my stock plugs looked good when I pulled them, but I went 1 step colder for my protune, it helps keep my EGTs down which alone is a good thing for me since my car likes to run hot.

Oh, if you want, theres a 'who did your tune and retune' thread going on over in the ECU forum if you want to share your experience.
