IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | I wouldn't push the stock block that high. but that's just me after researching on it's limits. I'd take the EWG out since he said DD. He'll be deaf after a year of DD. Personally, as much as people say meth is safe, I've seen it not be. So i'd delete that. I'd go for FMIC and go to a reputable shop to get it all tuned under a conservative tune. And teach myself to datalog and look for troubles. It is less power yeah, but if you need a reliable DD that pushes 400whp, you'll need another car or way more $$. just my 2c |

Our cars should come with a EWG Stock.... If you are worried about the noise you can just route thru the exhaust.. Especially being from PA I would think you agree with the EWG with the weather. Limits on the stock block isnt just one number, I have seen guys break @ 350WHP and see guys running strong with 450++WHP.. Meth of done right with a good system is real safe, personally I agree if I was gonna run meth I would run a Meth Tune and a Non Meth tune for my DD. But with a good system like a HFS-5 with all fail safes your 100% safe.. | |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | You are right about the weather being a pain if your car creeps. But I'd try wg porting first. As for the power limits, I know that all depends on the tune and the amount of abuse you give to the car, but generally speaking, you won't find high milleage cars that have been running 450whp for long miles. I'll admit, I'm tempted by meth. we'll see. |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | a lot of it is that built blocks tend to push 8k+ redlines and nuts power mods. These people take more chances with them because they are "tough blocks" and because to justify the $$$ you may as well go for the kill. Yet, sometimes luck comes back to hunt them and blow up. But I guess that's fine with them since once you're going custom block, $$$ is not much of a concern. Just build another! This ad is not endorsed by this member.
