Default Turbo Blanket Info and Writeup inside

I was looking around at turbo blankets. I really like the boost logic one, but I found this on ebay, and honestly, it doesn't look cheep to me.

Tell me your thoughts guys

I like it, I have had my eye on this and submitted an offer for it. The legacy forums had a group buy on this a while back and there were some good reviews. The seller seems to be very bad at responding to offers. I am not sure why a seller would have a best offer auction if he is not going to respond to reasonable offers. Hopefully he accepts my offer. When I get it I could post a review. I was even thinking for buying a large metal grommet to put in it for my IWG.

So I finally worked things out with the seller. He was still hard to get a hold of, but he said it was because it was Easter holidays (understandable). I got the blanket an I have to say it is nicer and more substantial than I expected. In fact it feels much more like a pillow than a blanket, the internal insulation is that thick. The materials and construction are top notch. This would blow away any of the generic turbo wrap kits out there. I particularly like this blanket design since it is more formable around the turbo than all the other more rigid turbo blankets that I have seen. I think this is important to accommodate the odd flange and IWG that most of us have for stock location turbos. The seller is able to make a few different sizes to accommodate various turbos. The only thing I have to reserve judgment for is how it stands up to heat. I have not installed it yet so I will be able to post on that in a week or two. If there is significant interest on the forum, the seller said he could register and do a group buy, so if you are interested, post up. He did a group buy in the past on the Legacy forums. This ships from New Zealand, by the way. Here are some pics of the blanket and it draped over an FP green.

That looks pretty substantial. I wonder if he could make one for the vf39?

Please let me know how it holds up to heat. I'm looking at picking up one of these for my Blouch DOM III (8cm hot side). Also, does the DOM III have the same housing as your green? If so, can you let me know what size blanket you ordered? Thanks

I have an 8cm green, what size blanket did you buy? Also his site says something about a group buy, how do we start one so we can all get a better price?

They probably make a few sizes of this, but in all honesty all of the common upgrade turbos from an 18g to a 30R will use the same size blanket. These are very adjustable, more so than other blankets on the market. I let the seller know which turbo I planned to use this with and he provided the one in the pics. The seller would need to start his own group but if there is enough interest from this thread.
