I sent the guy an email to let him know people were interested in a GB several days ago and got no response. I sent another message today to a different email address I found. Hopefully he responds. Here is a link to the company that makes these.

This doesn't make sense to me based on how many people are interested, but here is the seller's response.

Hi _____ thanks. Sorry i didn’t realize there was $60 registration fee. This with group buy discounts doesn’t make it worth doing for me at this stage. Perhaps it better if they just purchase through ebay. Then they will have security with purchase also.

Good try man, the guy just doesnt want to discount because if he did he would just say tell your buddies to use this coupon code and i will take off X amount you know.. Its funny like that cause for a while I was selling chopper stuff on ebay and anytime someone asked me for group buys I just did that gave them a code and told them to use it when they paypaled and I was more then willing to give a discount especially when it was a few guys. To me it was well worth it to discount a few bucks to get a big order out.. But to each his own I will look elsewhere for my blanket now..
