IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2006 Trader Rating: (4) | Getting rid of BOV? You should really get the Fuel Pump, your Injectors are pretty much also maxed out, so I would get: 1. Injectors 2. Fuel Pump 3. Water/Meth Injection Kit |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2007 Trader Rating: (5) | I would do header, uppipe, phenolic spacer, maybe PnP the turbo and intake manifold...there are still some things you can do |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (4) | Not neccesarily, if you are pairing it with a header of larger diameter a larger up would help. Or if you wanted to go external gate. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | IMO headers are a good idea. Mine are in my kitchen for storage until I can get them on the car. Maddad sells headers with an up pipe included. Cost me about $512 shipped. Maybe toss in some injectors with a new tune. I also agree on ditching the BOV. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2007 Trader Rating: (5) | Yeah most people say just b/c the uppipe is catless to leave it alone but there are good gains to be had with an aftermarket piece. If I were you with $1200, I would go with the Maddad header/uppipe combo and wrap it (that should be about $500), buy some GrimmSpeed phenolic spacers (about $80), get the turbo ported with a heat coating (about $500) and then get tuned (about $200). All the prices are just estimates but that would sound like a good start to me. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | If your going to do the phenolic spacer, make sure you put a couple washers in between the intercooler and intercooler bracket. This way the throttle body and the intercooler match up correctly. Ya I'm Stg II as well. My future mods are: Grimmspeed uppipe dump tube, with the Tial 38mm EWG, DW 750cc injectors, one step colder plugs, phenolic spacer, and a tune of coure... I'm like you, don't want to do any turbo upgrade for awhile, hope that helps... |

IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2008 Trader Rating: (4) | Honestly, all these mods arent really gonna give you more then you have at your numbers right now.. Meth would be my suggestion.. Meth and a Tune, I would run a Meth Tune and a Non Meth Tune.. I know you said no Meth and No Turbo.. But adding some header and a EWG and some Injectors are gonna maybe yield you another 15-20WHP if that.. I mean that just my.02.. Dont get me wrong these are al lmods that are gonna help and yeild you some power but they are $$$$ for what you are actually gonna get.. With your $1200 I would do a Auqamist HFS-5 and a Tune and that thing will be a BEAST... And like I said you can run a Meth tune for the weekends and track days, and run your Reg map for DD, and running the Meth will drop your IDC a bit too.. Its a WIN WIN WITH METH ![]() ... |

| Junior STI Driver | Sell the BOV. Invest the cash into something more useful. My suggestions: 1) meth injection 2) injectors and pump (just a pump if adding meth injection) 3) better clutch 4) protune! This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
