Default FMIC options - anyone used an Evo 8/9 FMIC?

Somebody PM'd me this:

"Anyways, dont know if you are still doing the whole weight reduction thing, or subaru thing. But have you ever checked out an Evo 8/9 fmic?

I picked my brothers old one to throw on my Z project, and the freakin thing is sersiouly around 7lbs. I can get you exact numbers if you need, but if wanted to loose a few more pounds for cheap...throw an evo fmic on there. They support up to 400 whp...sooo, it should be good power wise."

I'd be curious if anyone has done this. Pics?

this is interesting.... i dont see why not... like you said, it can support the power... im assuming you just have to have pipes run to the end tanks....

I would think it could be done with a lot of custom fabbing.
