| Junior STI Driver | I bought CobbTurbo heat shield.. I tried to put it on but I dont think I can put it on with my Aftermarket catless Downpipe. Does the heat shield only work with Stock downpipe? And I have one more question.. and I didnt know where to post this so Im just adding it on here... I have INTAKE and Catless Downpipe and HKS EXHAUST + ECU PROTUNE with opensource made 300WHP 340WTQ . I had Greddy RS BOV but I changed it back to stock BOV today.. I know this sound stupid lol but Is Stock BOV gonna reduce my power at all??Lower the boost? I just felt that way.. while I was driving today after changing it back to stock BOV~ Well I know BOV doesnt affect anything on power but just wanted to ask. This ad is not endorsed by this member. | Silver Member | The Cobb heatshield should fit over any downpipe. It is made to flex some during the install. The holes may not line up perfect at first until you give it a nice tug to align it. Oh BTW you left the stock brackets on right? That is what the Cobb heatshield bolts to, but they are not part of the stock downpipe. BOV I am not so sure, but if you got protuned with it on, you may want to put it back. If you were tuned without it, for sure leave it off. |
