IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2007 Trader Rating: (1) | Hey guys. Well time for the dp. It's gonna be catless, and bellmouth design. I spent a good part of the afternoon researching which to get. Now i know many people have gone with ebay dp's. I hear good and bad things. Some people say they don't fit, however other people say they fit, but don't give the brand name/ or seller. I read one person's nightmare post about the ets 06 dp sold by ebay seller nissangtrpower not fitting at all and he still had to pay 200 in labor cost to the shop. Crazy. I was thinking about this one: 110 shipped. eBay Motors: 02-03-04-05-06 IMPREZA WRX STi TURBO DOWNPIPE DOWN PIPE (item 270214903622 end time Mar-01-08 01:20:09 PST) but the cheap price scares me. But i mean it's just a steel tube, it shouldn't cost alot at all. Why should i pay 250 for the same thing just b/c it was made by invidia or whoever. And also the bellmouth opening is 4 inches, instead of most 3 inch openings. Would that pose a problem with fitment? Please let me know what you guys think, as i want to purchase b4 friday so the thing ships b4 the weekend. Thanks This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2006 Trader Rating: (7) | I will give you my Turbo XS downpipe if you want. I have bent it though. If you can straighten it back out it will be good. There is about a 1/8 gap from the flange for the DP where it connect to the turbo on the bottom side of the DP. Who knows you might be able to throw all the nuts on it and it pull itself back. I never had the bolt nut on the DP so thats why it pulled so easy. |

But i want to go new with this. I was also looking at the titek catless dp from gnv motorsports. He offers free overnight shipping. 250 shipped. If i order it 2marrow it could be here by friday and can have my local shop slap it on for the weekend. Then enjoy all the stage 2 torque i've been missing![]() Szumita, where can i find the invidia for 210.00? That's not with shipping is it? | |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2006 Trader Rating: (7) | Yea but you have to look at the steel quality, flange thickness, and other things like this. Its just not pipe. How long is that cheap pipe going to last? |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2007 Trader Rating: (1) | the one inside the link you post is the one I am using now, it does fit (perfectly...) and bolt right up to my stock exhaust, so as my Tanabe Medalion Touring Catback, no leak at all. Been using it for more than Half year and it's still in very good condition, I am very happy with this product. for $100 you really can't beat. But I am going to replace it with Maddad downpipe within few weeks, mainly because the bullmouth you got from this downpipe is not as smooth as the high-quality one, and the build quality is just "fair". So if you have extra cash to spend, get something better |
