Default stock header and cobb upipe question.

I have heard the stock headers are good till 400hp, I'm not even touching that, I'm sticking with the stock turbo. But I hear the stock headers are good in general, I looked at full race and maddad but they are pretty expensive so why spend that much at my level. Would you recommend a cobb uppipe with ported to matched, stock wrapped headers? This would be kinda towards the end of my shopping list but has anyone run this setup? Is it recommended?

Default Re: stock header and cobb upipe question.

i've heard the stock headers are good for a lot more, but i would get a bigger up-pipe that is port matched with whatever turbo you run. Stock headers will keep your spool quick but might hurt you top end. With my Equal Length Headers, my peak torque is at 4300 rpm's.
