IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | My06 has had a catless tbe for about 6 months now, no em at all, and runs just fine. I am getting it tuned later today though. I ran my 02 wrx with a catless tbe for almost two years without any em until I got a vf39 and I never had an issue. I know that it is 'bad' to do but I have never had a problem. Maybe I am just lucky, also I drove my wrx like I wanted it to blow up. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

By the time you have heard it or felt it it might be too late for a ring land. The car may feel great without EM and a TBE but that does not mean its a great idea for your car. Wait till you get EM and then do it all in a blaze of stage 2 glory. It does not make sense to risk a $5K+ engine because you lack a $600-800 tuner IMO. This ad is not endorsed by this member.
