My new Skunk exhaust

I just wanted to tell everyone that I just installed my Skunk2 catback exhaust. It's mated to my Maddad catted bellmouth DP. The pieces mated superbly! I will post up some pics and I will try to get a video up soon. The only issue I had was that the exhaust hit the diffuser, so I will be doing a little trim on the plastic. But other than that, it is deffinitely a sexy piece of equipment!

^^damn looks nice imo...i only heard it on a 2.0...i bet it sounds alot better on the 2.5...so the diffuser gets in the way huh...how much are you cutting off? me no likes cutting

It shouldn't be a whole lot. The angle of the exhaust puts the canister in a bad spot. I have to work tonight, so i will be doing the re-install of the diffuser tomorrow. I believe that a couple of cut off wheels and a dremel will do the trick. More pictures will be posted tomorrow. I will also try to go out and make a short little video as well. For now, you can just imagine how nice it sounds!!

Oh, about the sound...it is absolutely sinister. It has a very deep tone to it, and it isn't too loud while driving at normal cruising speeds. I had to make a quick trip to Louie Armstrong Int'l Airport in New Orleans at 4 this morning (45minute ride) and I was very pleased to learn that there is no drone at hwy speeds. I am a sheriff deputy, so my hwy speeds are probably slightly higher than most peoples' but still no droning none the less!

The greatest thing is that once you drop the hammer, and cut her loose, the exhaust note is pure sex!! So far, I have to say I Love the Skunk exhaust on the 2.5.

alas...news i was hoping for...you just suckered me into purchasing one now...lol...so youre a sheriff huh? thats cool...i have a trial by jury on the 18th of Jan against DPS...regarding a ticket that i was allegedly speeding way over the speed limit...integrity check maybe?

I'm not sure how much you are going to be purchasing the exhaust for, but if you would like, contact Lightning Motorsports - Your Source for Import Performance Authorized Distributor for AEM Intake Systems, Ingalls Camber Kits, Neuspeed, MSD Ignitions and Skunk 2 Exhausts and Suspension components. The owner is a good friend of mine, and right now, he's selling the Skunk exhaust for 400. I'm not sure about shipping, but it couldn't be that bad. About the ticket....I apologize, not all cops are nice. I try to be as fair as possible. I also like to drive fast, and hypocrites are ass holes!!

not a bad price but shipping would probably get me...theres a shop here that is willing to give it to me for 425 even...so i guess ill make the drive

...an yes...not all cops are nice...an not all act professional...but its all good...i should get "jimmy justice" to prove a point...haha...nah just joking...anyway cant wait to hear the exhaust

appreciate that...i will try an walk out the door with the skunk2 for 400...lol...we'll see...as for the dp i have the invidia...i hope it mates perfect
