I'm stage 2 also. I find that I don't burn hardly any oil between changes. I one time tried another brand and it burned off by 2000 miles. The light came on for a second and I shut her down. I run her hard almost all the time. I don't ever want to see the oil light again. It does seem that either that time or the track (or both) are causing wear on the engine. I'll know more after their next report.
