As listed, for sale is a clean and complete 2005 STI longblock including power accesories, belts, and miscellaneous parts.


The GOOD:

All accesories and parts are still bolted to the motor; complete longblock is still assembled. The package is in great cosmetic condition, very clean. The motor idles, runs and drives without any odd noises, but it has low compression and blowby. If you can stop by within the next week, the motor will still be installed in the car and running. The intake manifold, stock injectors and fuel rails are also included, but will be packaged seperately. Please see my add for the APS TSR 70 kit for pictures of the motor. I will upload additional photos as well as a current video which depicts the motor idling and revving.


THE BAD and UGLY (not so bad or ugly, just unfortunate):

The motor has low comperssion and will need the shortblock rebuilt; bad gas caused the motor to detonate and damage the rings.

complete and assembled longblock (heads, block, valve covers, cams +++++)

Parts included but not on the motor:

intake manifold
throttle body
stock fuel rails and injectors
coil packs
alternator
a/c compressor
power steering pump
stock exhaust manifolds


What is not included:

turbo
top mount intercooler
engine harness

The engine must be picked up in the Maryland, Gaithursburg area, where the car is being serviced.

This item is perfect for a motor swap (after-rebuild) or a motor build in needs of a good core, good heads and accesories.

Asking $1400 OBO for the complete assembly as listed assuming local cash pickup.

good luck with that. I"ve sent him messages here, on other forums, and called him. can't seem to get in touch with this guy even though I was willing to pay his asking price.

Wow... awsome... I have the money and the last PM I sent him was when and where and I'm holding cash... ?

And funny thing is he gave me his phone... I called that and never get answer...

Yeah he stated to me he was busy. But he keeps bumping his thread on another forum. If you're too busy to sale something quite freaking bumping the for sale thread!
