If the ol/cl fuel status value is 8, you are in closed loop, 10, you are in open loop. You want to minimize the number of parameters that you log. Do that, and post up your log on the Enginuity site. You'll learn from others giving you feedback.
Okay, I hope to give this a shot today...
1. I need to DL my current map parameters.
2. I need to redo my selected parameters in enginuity
3. If I do as above, is this a 2nd to third pull?

You simply want to go from cruise to WOT quickly as you normally would when driving. If you are running a Cobb map, they probably zero out the delays, so likely you won't have an issue with the transition.

Angry Re: How to data log, Enginuity or ecuExplorer?

Bringing this thread back from the dead...

I have a new (well old) laptop that I am going to dedicate to Subi stuff. I am now having a WHOLE bunch of issues trying to get everything running, from my PC recognizing my AP to getting Enginuity to recognize my 07.

1. It appears as if all links from Downloads - OpenECU
are bad. I was able to find enginuity, and installed it, but when I connect to the tactrix, it asks to install a driver for Subaru. Where do I find it?

2. I tried skipping the above and connecting through the logger, no luck.

3. AP: I run AP Manager, connect the AP, and I get the gears screen and the PC never recognizes the AP.

I was able to get all of this to work before on a different machine. Anyone able to lend a hand??? TIA!

The driver is with ECUflash. You must download that as well. Hope that helps

I just found that on NASIOC. Now I have another problem, my laptop is running Windows 2K Pro, NOT XP or Vista... Do you know if there is an older version I can use or do I need a newer OS?

I really don't know but I would just try it and see if you can get it to work with your OS.

I DL'd and loaded it. I get an error under the Task Info Pane:
"error loading FTD2XX.DLL"

I'll try to connect to the car later this week.

seems like some ppl have problems either way... i d/l'd ecuexplorer and it freezes on me right around the time it logs 18.4 in boost.... end of data log. i have given up trying to resolve the issue.

i hope your computer issue gets worked out and you are able to log.

I just had a thought... I only need ECUFlash for the drivers, correct? Do I even need to run ECUFlash once I connect to the car? This may be a non-issue. I will have to try it and see.

Right there in those links is plenty for you to learn/read. You may need to read through it multiple times. You will get the hang of it all.

UPDATE: I was able to get ecuExplorer to run on win2k. The version and updates at romraider.com were what I used to do a complete reinstall. The logging works, I want to DL my current map today if I have time.
