Default Green Test Connectors Found Under Steering Column

Does anyone know who manufacturers the green test connectors (both male and female) that are located under the steering column, used to reflash the ecu. Does anyone have part numbers or know where i can purchase a set?

If you are looking for an easy way to plug/unplug them just leave them connected and place a 2 way toggle on one of the wires.

Something tells me that's not a good idea if you are still under warranty...

The guys at MZM soldered up a set of pigtails with a rocker switch that can be plugged into any Impreza, it's pretty slick.

Use a rocker switch. You'll need 2 wires that go from where the rocker switch is, to the green test connectors.

You'll need a way to attach these wires to the switch. This will vary depending on the switch.

At the side of the test connectors, crimp a male disconnect onto one wire, a female disconnect onto the other wire. Plug the disconnects into the test connectors. Done. When the switch is "on", youre in test mode. When the switch is "off", youre not in test mode.

No permanent modifications are done to your car. Going to the dealer? disconnect hte disconnects from the green connectors, and hide the wires w/ disconnects under the dash. If the dealer asks what theyre for, tell them theyre for your hidden garage door opener, which you have removed.

(If you really do want to use the switch for your hidden garage door opener, PM me)
