Default Accessport OTS + E85

So I receive my accessport on Friday, been waiting 2 years to finally get one haha. I had a question about it. I run 10 gallons of regular unleaded 91, mixed with 5 gallons of E85. With this 33% mixture of E85, the octane is effectively raised to about 95. My question is this, using this mixture, is it ok for me to flash to the 93 octane map? Will any issues arise from running 95 octane gasoline on the 93 OTS map?

Thanks everyone.

In order to see any benifits from E-85 you need to be tuned for it. You'll get better performance running regular premium with OTS maps.

I regularly run around 30 percent E85 with 92 Octane. Even without the tune, the car really likes it.

Did you try this yet? I have been running E30 with my stock WRX with good results, just ordered by exhaust, downpipe and Cobb AP. Should I load the 93 Octane stage 2 map when running the E30 which is 93 octane? Or should I use the 91 octane Stage 2 map?

If you're running stage two you might need to be careful how much ethanol you add in. I was curious about this too, datalogged a 4th gear pull with just 91 octane and compared it to the same 4th gear pull with a tank of 91 octane + 1.5 gallons of E85. The addition of the E85 came close to maxing out the injectors at peak boost (like 98% duty cycle). W/ just the 91 octane it was mid-80s % injector duty cycle.

It runs so much smoother w/ the ethanol, for sure, but if you add too much E85 you might max out the injectors at high boost levels. I'm pretty sure that's not a good thing, though I'm no expert. Just my two cents.

I saw a dyno plot of a performance motorcycle (standard 4 cly superbike without mods) on pump gas and then an E85. The E85 power curve was brutal, but after some re-tuning of the fuel map it was ok again.

If you run E85, you will probably have to completely re-adjust the amount of fuel going into your engine. They didn't adjust the amount of gas by 2%... it was like 30% more in some cases.
