| Senior STI Driver | Okay before you start flaming, I have had a few turbo cars and have always believed that when you mod a turbo car you need (or atleast should use) a boost controller. I have an 06 STI with an FP Green, Meth, Cobb AP, etc and running an AVC-R boost controller. I am thinking about switching to an ECUTEK and I was told that I don't really need a boost controller. Does this sound correct? Do all of you run boost controllers? Is it necessary? This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2005 Trader Rating: (1) | It takes a lot for me to not tell you to search+read... The ECU has enough innate boost control (or an AVC-R, if you want to go that route). http://www.cobbforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32552 Read up here. |
