IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2004 Trader Rating: (6) | You have a computer in car that controls everything: boost, fuel, timing, etc. You want a solution that will custom tune everything such that the stock computer can work in harmony with specific engine modifications. Different engine modifications require different tuning. A boost controller only controls boost. You want to be able to control enough parameters to keep the car stock-like and, more importantly, safe. Try some googling on ECU, Electronic Control Unit, Engine Management, etc. Also do some searches on how engines work (air, fuel, spark, etc). t |
