That should at least get you started. Please utilize the search button. There are copious amounts of information on this forum but you just have to search around for it. At least try first and if there are questions that you need answered or any information that is unclear please feel free to fire questions away. Good luck.

do not just get a boost controller and turn up the boost. that will blow up your engine

the cobb flashes a map onto your ecu which changes boost and many other things (like timing, afr's, etc).

You have a computer in car that controls everything: boost, fuel, timing, etc. You want a solution that will custom tune everything such that the stock computer can work in harmony with specific engine modifications. Different engine modifications require different tuning. A boost controller only controls boost. You want to be able to control enough parameters to keep the car stock-like and, more importantly, safe.

Try some googling on ECU, Electronic Control Unit, Engine Management, etc. Also do some searches on how engines work (air, fuel, spark, etc).

Read my post above. Cobb EM controls more than just boost. The answer is evident
