Default hydra?

what is a hydra. some kind of ecu management or what. is it better than ap?

It's a full standalone engine management system much like the AEM.

check out www.elementtuning.com for more info or there is a hydra forum on NASIOC


As far as whether or not it's better than the AP is an unfair question...apples to oranges kind of thing. The Hydra can do many more things than the AP, but costs alot more so it depends on what your looking for it to do.......I personally bought a car with an AP in it and am switching to a Hydra.

IMO hydra is a very good Em, im planning on moving into that soon

i wondering how the new turbo xs delta compares to the hydra? and yes i know the delta is a piggy back (at least i think it is)..

I've been running the Hydra for a little under 2 years and love it. I've put roughly 40k and have never had a problem that could not be corrected easily by me.

I don't know anything about the TurboXS delta, but I can tell you the Hydra is years ahead of the UTEC.

HYDRA OWNS!!!....my next build will definately be with a hydra EM. Til then ill roll with my protune!
