IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2004 Trader Rating: (11) | no the egt reads instantaneous...you give it throttle you see the needle move right away to a higher degree...when you let off it drops right away. oil temp moves slow because oil takes long to heat up and cool down lol. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2005 Trader Rating: (1) | Sloooow. At idle, for example on startup, it takes 20-30 seconds to catch up. At higher RPM it lags significantly less, but still several seconds at best. Mine is mounted about an inch away from the exhaust port (left front). I've thought about changing mine out for something else, because with the lag, I just do not see that it is all that useful for anything other than eye candy. |
