Question Worth a pro-tune

There is a chance I will be in a city with an excellent protuner this weekend/early next week.... But right now I'm stage two with only Cobb Catted DP/AP... I'm quite a few hours from the nearest experienced protuner. I had planned to wait for a full TBE + intake before protune, but I'm tempted to see if I can schedule a protune while I'm visiting my brother.... I don't have the cash to do everything now. Is it worth protuning now, or should I just wait until I get the full stage II laundry list. I'll admit the idea of a stock cat-back sleeper appeals to me, though.

Thanks for your thoughts!

Let's see, are you going to Alpharetta, GA or Chicago, IL? Or maybe one of the east coast towns? (In short, who's the tuner?)

I only have a turboback and protune, and it was a noticable difference (click protuned in my sig to read about it).

Another person on here, Majin, had his car TopSpeed protuned with an Injen CAI and Cobb Catted DP (stock catback) and he swore by that setup until he went 20g recently. So yes, if you're willing to pay for it, there will be some gains, not to mention your tune will be safer than a shelf map.

Protune is the cheapest way to get more horses, well not cheapest but you get the idea.
