IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2004 Trader Rating: (14) | Which one actually has more cranking power? I'm having problems with my Braille (it won't hold a charge). So I'm thinking about getting a PC680 to put in while I send my Braille back for them to look at. If they replace it under warrantee, I'll probably just sell it. BUT, which battery is actually better during cold starts and which will hold a charge for longer? And is the PC680MJT basically just a PC680T with a metal jacket for extra protection? IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2004 Trader Rating: (11) | the braille has 360 cca while the other has 280 cca...if you go to www.brailleauto.com then download the pdf for the more tech info in the braille battery, it has a comparison against the odyssey and pretty much pwns it. here http://www.brailleauto.com/downloads...ompetitors.pdf |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2004 Trader Rating: (14) | Interesting...I wonder why my Braille has been acting up lately. I guess I'll just put a cheapo battery in while mine is away hopefully getting replaced. |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2002 Trader Rating: (12) | Although you've seen mine and others' comments elsewhere on the board, but I think it has less to do with CCA and more to do with internals. I'm sure Braille is quality, but I've seen a ton of them "act up" compared to the Odysseys. BTW...I've had my PC680MJT for nearly a year with it sitting for about a month and no problems. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2004 Trader Rating: (14) | Well, I just tightened up the terminals (they were a little loose) and it seems to be working better. Maybe that was all it was, but I'll wait to see if it starts up again after sitting for awhile. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2004 Trader Rating: (11) | do you think something is running in your car causing it to go dead if it can't hold a charge? maybe it needs a better connection too. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
