Default question about Dtec

pretty much is it good? worth it? if not what should i get... and jsut so u know im kinda a noob at tuning and stuff with the ECU someone wanna help me out a tad THANKS

I think you are talking about Utec? We have a lot of members running it with no problems (?), best I can tell you is search the threads.

DTEC for boost control is awesome. The only downsides to it are no datalogging and only 5 maps, so if you want to go gear specific (i.e. use all 5 maps for the gears), you cannot have multiple target boost maps.

I datalog with mine all of the time. You can record runs and check WGDC and see how close it is keeping your target boost through out the gears. I love mine.

You can't datalog to a computer, but it can datalog for viewing after a run.

You can also have two different boost targets *with* gear-based boost control by using the scramble target as your second "map". In the options, you can force the scramble mode to be on all the time... so that would be like selecting your second map.
