Default New Ecuexplorer Question

Hello,
I have a ots map for my stage 2 sti. I am on the 91 octane map, and when I ask my friend to look at my accessport while WOT in fourth, he reads 18.3 for a second then tapering to 17.9 and so on. I do not know why I have this spike, but hope that through the Ecuexplorer program I can log the boost measurements too see if its only for a second, or for a while. The reason I made this thread was to ask whether the Ecuexplorer will be able to read above 18.3 psi. I know they made a correction ( I don't really understand the correction) but I just wanted to know if by using this software I can log to what extent my boost is going over 18.3. If they are not using my ecu to calculate this boost above 18.3 then what are they using? Sorry for the long post, I just needed to give background before I asked my question.

Thanks a lot for your help and input. I figured since no one who just has an ots map would use this program, other than you self-tuners, that this forum would be right.

It will be able to read over 18.3 psi. With the stock MAP sensor it should read to ~22psi before it becomes useless.

In ecuExplorer, you want to select and log Corrected Manifold Relative Pressure in the User Defined parameter list. Or you can log Manifold Relative Pressure and just subtract the Atmospheric Pressure.
