Default ScanGauge

Anyone ever seen this or have experience using one? I am wondering how accurate it is. Would be interesting to read the inlet and coolant temps.

Don't know what scan gauge you're talking about, but you can do this (plus a whole lot more) with any OBD cable (the Accessport one works good) and the Tari ecuExplorer software (free).

That tool will work but can only display the generic ISO-9141 protocol parameters. If you already have a laptop and an Accessport, then just use the AP cable and ecuExplorer. It uses the Suby-specific Subaru Select Monitor (SSM) protocol and can display at lot more ecu information.

If you don't have an AP, you can buy a good cable for half the price of that scan gauge. Here's the link to Tari for the ecuExplorer software.

Default Got it yesterday

Put it in last night. Seems to work pretty good. Have to figure out where to mount it. Im really not interested in keeping a laptop in the car. I just wanted basic info. And I can use it in multiple cars. If I ever get an accessport then I would use the ecuexplorer software. I wish it would give me oil pressure, but it dosent. If I did use the ecuexplorer software will that give me oil pressure?
