Ok, I know the answer must be here somewhere, but I can't look anymore, it is 2am! I should be getting my Cobb AP V1 early next week for my 05. ...question is: If stage 2 works for just a turbo-back, how will the same map accommodate a combo of turbo-back, fmic and cai? That is the combo I have. It seems like Stage 2 is run for any of those options...

PS I bought the car from a dealer in Jan. It runs great (and compression/leakdown tests turned out fine), so i assume that he had it tuned before and unmounted it when he turned it in. After running it for a few months untuned, is there anything I should look for as far as damage? I do not want to pay 275 dollars for a dealer to do a compression test.

haha! Good! I was hoping that they were giving me some BS. What price is reasonable? I'm gonna ask around the shops in my area for prices tomorrow.

I joined over the weekend. let me say having a second set of hands really helps out when removing the stock dp and when installing the new one. I followed the directions for taking the tmic makes getting those 7 screws off the heat shield much easier. I started at 1230 had to wrap and spray the dp. did an oil change while waiting for the car to cool too and wrapped up around 530ish. oh one last needed thing, 12 pack.
the car is so much more responsive making boost happens at a blimp of the throttle. It looks like on the gauge that peak boost only hits 1.1bar (15-16 psi?) but a quick connection of the ap reveals 18.1 psi!!

I just went to Stage 2 with a Cobb catted downpipe this weekend. Im hitting 1.2 -1.3 bar of boost right now. I seriously can't believe how big of a difference this made compared to just the stage 1 flash.

The car becomes even more alive with a fuel pump and a tune.

I've been at Stage 2 for a couple of weeks now. I'm running the TXS stealthback with a Prodrive roundtip and I have to say that it's exactly what I expected and then some. The torque is amazing and the sound is not too overbearing but still provides a nice throaty rumble at WOT. Getting used to the extra interior noise from the big hollow 4" downpipe is taking some time to get used to, but I find myself driving around with the radio off just to hear the turbo spooling. Not sure if my car is a factory freak or if I'm just not driving her hard enough, but I'm still managing just over 300mpg using Sunoco Ultra 94 on the AP 93oct map. Can't complain one bit!

You probably mean 300 miles/tank.....that's pretty insane. You must be doing a lot of freeway driving.

My car gets about 230 miles/tank in the city.

Ha ha ha....yeah...sorry...I'm getting just over 300 miles/tank on Stage 2, which blows my mind. It's like having your cake AND eating it too!

All right... you guys are really pissing me off (jealous stage 1 owner)... you all seem so darn happy with your Stage 2 upgrade. (you have no idea how fast I started checking for a downpipe after reading all your happy posts)

So much happiness it's making me angry....lol...

I hate to sound like a preacher, but if you want a good, stealthy package:

Titek catted dp.
3" to 2.5" adapter.
Cobb turbo heatshield.
walbro 255
APS 65mm CAI (optional for sound and about 10 more whp with tuning, dyno proven!)
Pro-tune.

When this car hits full boost on the freeway, you will need to hold onto something and make sure you use the bathroom before the drive.
