The cobb map is designed to work with their short ram so there should be enough safety built in to run the SPT. If you aren't going to get protuned I'd recommend buying a stock air box. You won't lose any power and won't heat soak as bad in the summer. |

The stage 1 is 325 bhp and 340 lbs-ft The stage 2 is 340 bhp and 385 lbs-ft. These numbers are with 93 octane and a TBE. I see that you're stage 2 already. I would get a walbro fuel pump and get customed tuned by a good known tuner. You can also add an APS CAI 65mm to the mix if you want some extra power and sound. You can not reduce boost levels with the ap, that is done with a manuall boost controller which you DO NOT want to get. You can change different maps though, so if you change to the anti theft mode, Im sure it boosts much lower and limits the rpm's for instance. Once you get custom tuned (AKA: Pro-tuned), everything will be tailored to your car, from boost, fuel curves, ignition timing etc etc. Last, since you have a V1, a cool mod would be to do the concealed display and hardwire it. PM me for info or if you have more questions, or post here if your question is stage 2 related. Last edited by Peleg; 03-20-2008 at 06:18 PM. | |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | ^thank you for the clarification! i just figured that the cobb AP itself could find estimated hp of a vehicle. i am running a injen intake which was protuned now i am stage 2 and i flashed to the Cobb Stage 2 93 v111 LC map. i am considering a walbro. then maybe a retune. i have hardwired my Valentine one and have mounted it in the headliner and have the concealed display on my steering column. the v1 has saved my a$$ soo many times lol thank for all the info!
