i would love to join but am having problems gettin my apv1 to communicate to the pc so i cant download the stage 2 base map. i bought it used and it doesnt have the normal stage 2 map stored in it. i tried connecting it for many hours in sync mode but still wont communicate. i ordered a new serial cable from cobb hopefully this will fix the problem. i am anxiously waiting to get it in there.

Those are pretty strong numbers for the 91 CA gas.

What are your mods?

How did the before and after feel also?
No, I got the intake, installed it and went to get re-tuned.

The power curve is linear now.

No wastegate flutter.

Your the guy who made is own catless DP right? If you are catless I would get the solenoid (at least this is what my tuner told me). Talk to whoever is going to tune your car to make sure though, everyone likes different set ups.

Haha yep thats me but I DO have a cat. Its a magna flow metalic substrate cat just like what maddad uses and probably some others. Not saying they use magna flows specifically but same type.

Well just got home from GST and I am very very happy.

This is the cobb OTS stage 2 map compared to my tuned map. I will have to say that last night I installed the walbro so I dont know if the ecu had time to really learn after being reset because it was a 80 mile drive but all freeway for me to get there. This is also on a mustang dyno.

The car has a GM solenoid now, My TBE and a walbro FP.

haha yeah I know. I was standing back away from the car and I could see the torque line from where I was standing and it was just breaking over a line and I was like great thats probably like 250tq. Then mike told me to come over and said you might want to check it out lol. I could not beleive I broke 300.

All I have done is the Walbro, GM boost solenoid and the downpipe and exhaust that I built.

At PIA, Seattle got Perrin catless DP (one piece style), Kakumei Catback. Tim from SurgeLine gave me a couple of maps to hold me over until the 13th when I get a protune... Tim told me to take it easy on the gas, so I can't wait for the 13th... The difference in feel is more than when I went Stage 1.

Incidentally, I am getting a lot of CEL codes. AFR too lean, Misfire, PFFFE. I can easily clear them using the AP2 but they remind me not to push the car... Any suggestions while I wait for the protune?

I have a question for people that are protuned and have a short ram intake. Has anyone gotten an actual gain from an spt intake when they went protuned or is it better just to keep the stock air box on?

Well, I got the APS CAI 65mm.

I went from 254/286 protuned with stock intake to,

262/293 with the new intake, protune.
