I'm in. Went Stage II with a protune about two weeks ago. How much boost are you hitting by gear?? Gears 1, 2 and 3 are basically stock near 14.5 with 18.5 for gears 4, 5 and 6. Does this sound about right?? Protuned with Accessport V1

going protuned stage II on may 9th from stage I. cant wait. 05 sti

listing of mods: so far just the spt intake/heatshield and ap v.2 (the spt intake/heatshield was an xmas gift from the gf, little did she know that was the tip of the iceberg)

on may 9: mods above + cobb catless tbe, cobb lightweight main pulley, protune.

i will probably post the dyno and some youtube vids (since ppl 2000+ miles away back home requested vids)

on a sidenote: does anyone have a video of someone, prefer 05 sti, running only a cobb tbe catless? interested in how it sounds and how loud it may be.. both under normal driving and wot.

Went stage 2 ACN 91 octane map today. Car pulls harder than stage 1 for sure. I am only hitting 17 psi though. Stage 1 I was hitting 16.5psi. Not sure why I am not hitting closer to 18 psi like most other people running stage 2. On the bright side, 17psi is probably pretty safe.....and I am seeing 17psi at 3K rpm which is great.

i am probably 2day or 2moro, will that clear the check engine light and the annoying flashing criuse control light if i am catless? the cruise light always make me look down and think i still have my blinker on . Why is it that that light turns on as well?

I have an 07 STI Limited and just went Stage 2 in the last couple weeks. I have the Cobb AP v2 using their 91 octane 1.01 Stg2 map, and a Cobb catted downpipe. Everything else on the car is stock, including the cat-back. The turbo is spooling sooner now and the car feels happier in general because this tune is better than the stock one was for the most part. But I'm only seeing about 16 PSI boost, versus the 18.5 target listed in the map notes. I've seen it momentarily spike closer to 17 PSI for a millisecond in 5th gear, but most of the time it's rock solid at 16.

Anyone else with an 07 running this setup? Are you seeing sustained boost above 16 PSI? Does this sound relatively normal, or do you have any other suggestions? I've read about replacing the restrictor pills on the 07's for over/under-boosting but I'm wary about changing to an even smaller pill when the 07 already has a smaller one to start with. Sounds like an invitation to boost spiking. I've doubled-checked my DP and IC connections and that I'm running the correct map, and I've reset the ECU just to be sure.

Thanks.

Just as an FYI, you should not be running the stage II map with only a Downpipe, especially on the 07. Run the stage 1 map until you get the catback.

16-17psi sounds about right for a stage II, I've seen up to 19, but this is the 93 octane map.

I believe you are incorrect...the downpipe is the key element to stage 2. Catback is preferred but not required.

+1

NEVER run stage 1 with an aftermarket down pipe

I was told I can get stage 2 protuned with just a CObb catted DP. Was planning on taking the plunge soon to try get past these 07 issues

Can I just use the AP as my boost gauge as I did not get that option on my 07?
