Ya, Stg 2 feels slow now. I think if you drove around with stock for long then you would definetly notice a difference... Stock it feels fast, then it dies off, then you go stg 2, then it feels fast, then not. Then you go big turbo... (till your 15k down

A little over a year. Though, it did have a turboback exhuast. That flashed the Stage II map, and noticed no difference. My boost is really bouncy too. It won't just stay there. I mean, I'm happy with it in the long run, but I really can't tell a difference.

Praise the lord, Im not the only one that thought stg2 was a waste!

I did the same thing as you....drove the car for almost a year at stock, put on a dp and catback for a few months, then flashed to stg2.

totally bummed. stg2 is a hype.

Maybe, just maybe if I would have gone from stock to stg2, all in one shot, i would not have felt that it was a waste. But I had to have the AP none the less.

Yeah, I have heard some people with the same thoughts on stage 2 as you though. I just think there are too many factors, since every single car is different, does its own thing, also climate, altitude, and the good ole butt dyno really just make it tough for these modifications to have 100% satisfaction

Well, if you already have an AP, how is stage 2 (which is just an exhaust) really a waste? If going from 100-102mph to 106-109mph traps is a waste, then why mod at all?

Seriously, you need the exhaust for any future applications anyhow. Since running an exhaust without tuning isn't always the best thing to do, getting an AP makes sense.

Personally, going from stock to stage 1 was a noticeable difference in the mid-range and lower gears. When I go stage 2 this spring, I'm predicting a nice increase again in the mid range and top end. Factor in that I'm on 94 octane and at 200-500ft asl, I'm sure stage 2 will take nicely to my car.

I just get into the Stg2 tonight. I have to say I am not impress at all. I've driven my car for few months with K&N typhoon and invidia dp for few months. I thought I'll be impress tonight but not at all.

Cobbs maps were made for the stock intake.

Also, it is important to make sure your running target boost.

ok. 60 miles now. first gear is fast and it goes by fast. i do notice faster spool up and more pull. 5th and 6th gears are where i would have expected them to be when i bought the car stock. i will eventually get a protune. its not bad. i only paid $325 for the dp and $40 for the install. its worth that much.

also, i am in the mile high city so i don't know how much that is effecting things.

I'm in!!
I got my AP v2 today at about 10am.
I'm running a Maddad V2 downpipe mated to the Maddad Whisper catback.

I like it a lot...
