considering purchasing the cobb stage II upgrade and wanted to know how easy it was to hook up and how much of an improvement was felt.

Its real easy plug it in under steering wheel, attach 2 green connectors, answer some yes or no questions, and yes there is a hp increase. by the way search function is your friend.

Stage II is more than just the AP. Installing at least the required downpipe is a bit more involved than just plug and play. It is definitely doable by the DIY'er if you are comfortable turning wrenches. Nothing complicated, just a series of steps to follow

^^True, if you do the install, ask for some Subaru owners near your area to help you out....Install is pretty smooth and straight forward....hate the stupid stock heat shield though lol.

Nah its easy to do, the stock heat shield has 10 10mm bolts.

Then you have 5 14mm bolts that hold the DP, a 17mm that holds the shield brakcet the the engine. A 14mm bolt that hold the end of the DP to a bracket. The rest is straight forward for the catback, 12mm bolts all around. Also add some PB before you start...

And if you buy the STG 2 from Cobb its a nice setup. Cobb AP, Cobb DP and Cobb Catcak....you might want to add the hangers too
