IMPORTANT INFORMATION for ALL 06 STI's w/ AP - Page 5

To all,

We have been able to reproduce this issue in house...which is a good thing. We are going to spend time today testing and verifying software and hardware so we can pinpoint the problem. I will post here (and on other forums) as soon as a solution is available.

We would be grateful if a local could drive by and let us look at their 2006 STi or 2006 LGT MT for about two hours. Please e-mail me at christian@cobbtuning.com if you would like to volunteer.

Another note, all that are having this issue...please verify that your AccessPORT says "2006 WRX STi" when it boots up as opposed to "2006 WRX"

Mine is also correct. 2006 WRX STI. I had that immobilizer thing again this morning. It just wouldnt start. I tried it off and on again for about 1min and it eventually started but definately threw the immobilizer code. Guess it's unrelated to the AP issue we having.

Correct, the immobilizer has nothing to do with the AP.

I should have some realtime maps for you to test later today. Please e-mail me if you are willing to test them. The maps should be available by 5pm MST today.

We believe we have solved the issue. The new maps are available for testing. I want to externally verify that everything is working properly before I publish these maps. Please e-mail me if you would be able to test these maps for us. I can e-mail them to you. Max or Leon...if available, I know both of you have been able to duplicate this issue.

We have not been able to confirm that these new Realtime maps are functioning properly. I have e-mailed the new Realtime maps to Max & Leon and I am awaiting their reply. As soon as I hear back I will post and update.
