Default Cobb Stage 2 and Rear o2

I'm running Cobb Stage 2 v1.05 .

I'm looking to install my wide band o2. Can I remove the rear o2 completely now since cobb totally disabled the rear o2?

This would save me from having to weld in another bung for my wide band.

Wow, they completely ignore the signal? I still read the narrow band signal though the Delta Dash. I'd much rather run a LM-1 into the Delta Dash and use that bung.

Buschur. Besides having to wait, I got the wrong muffler, resonator hits the gas tank shield, no clamp for the middle, tail pipe sticks out too far. Good thing you canceled.

Did you take the o2 completely out? I wonder if you have to leave it connected? Do you have the latest 1.05 map?

So unplugging the o2 sensor fixed the problem?

How did you get it to fit? A lot of modifications? How is the sound and performance?

The resonator hit the gas tank shield so I was desperate and pounded the gas tank shield with a hammer to make some room. I think they might of tweaked the exhaust when they welded the resonator in. It would of fit fine if there was no resonator. Also, its not perfectly under the half circle cut in the bumper. Other than that it fits fine. Sound is loud and huge increase in performance. Car really spools quick. Sounds mean but a little too loud so now I'm looking at a different muffler like the Magnaflow. I can't get ZPI to call me back either. Imagine that...

Okay, I installed my wide band. I tried to take out the stock o2 completely but I got that P0037 cel so I have to keep the sensor hooked up and zip tied somewhere. I can't wrap electrical tape around the o2 since the o2 is heated and might melt the tape.

I know, I've tried to call them but nobody called me back either this week. I wonder if they're out of business, because they are not in the Vendor section any longer.
I'm glad to hear that gains are good, it is pretty much just a 3" pipe going back, too bad it doesn't fit well, Kenny told me how great it should fit and how well everything clams together with no leaks.

P0037 is the heater element warning on your rear O2 sensor. So it could be the sensor, or your ECM, or the wiring.

I'm in the minority here, but disconnecting this sensor on a closed loop system could cause some problems as far as A/F ratios and rough engine idle.

I would think about getting it fixed. Just my .02US.

I agree, I bet they are still watching the sensor readings, but changed the voltage range for the CEL.

Isn't the only purpose of the rear 02 sensor to monitor the cat converter? I thought the main o2 sensor(s) is closer to the engine in the header and thats what the ECM goes off of, not the rear. Removing the second o2 shouldn't cause any problems.

With the rear o2 sensor completely removed and zip tied up out of the way, my car runs great. No problems starting, and my car runs like a raped ape now. Wide band o2 shows 11.x:1 when I'm at full boost and 14.x:1 at idle. No problems what so ever with the rear 02 removed.
