IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2007 | I just got tuned yesterday (stg 2) and I'm trying to keep a close eye on the boost values. My question is, how reliable is the AP boost value? I have a boost gauge too and I've noticed a significant difference between the gauge and the AP. It seems like the AP reads about 2-3 psi higher. Have any of you experience the same thing or compared the two? |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 | My boost gauge (Defi) is usually the one that reads higher. Also, did you upgrade your AP with the latest firmware? Not sure where your AP is capping out at, but with the new firmware, it shouldn't cap out at 18.4psi anymore. CobbTuning.com - Subaru Firmware |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2007 | I updated the firmware but I noticed that the AP is reading 21 psi and my Autometer gauge is reading 19 psi so I'm not sure which is right. My tuner put a cap on the boost level so I couldn't get any any boost spike so I guess I shouldn't worry about it but I'd just like to be sure |
