IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | Hi, I was looking for the older tactrix version 1 cable. I have been told that it is no longer available from tactrix or tuner tools.com. They will only be selling the version 2 cable that cost 170 shipped. So I have found another option for a data logging cable with the evoscan unit sold here: Mitsubishi OBDII DataLogger - EvoScan It is 100 bucks and supports 1.3U or 1.3B with will work with my 04 sti. I want to flash this XPT map onto my car: http://www.plasmatize.com/xptstore/i...c7ea450a859d6f The total cost of the cable and the map are 230 bucks this is a great deal. Does anyone see any reason this will not work? I already have a freind that is using ecuflash on his evo. So we have the software required. Just looking to get feed back on this setup. My current modifications are: -Invidia catless dp -Hks Hipower -K&N sri Thanks in advance. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

Ok so after a lot of reading and emails with dealers and ecu heads these is the deal. *My friend's Mitsubishi 1.3m cable will work my 2004 STI. If I buy the limitless cable I will have to run EcuFlash 1.29 or earlier. Newer releases won't work with the limitless cable. -tactrix 1.3m cable- ![]() *I hope this may help someone else in the future if this topic ever comes up again. Since the demand for the older Tactrix cable is rising, i'm sure someone will be curious about this topic. *Just to note the new version 2.0 cable is awesome but there is no need if you can get access to a STi 2004-2007 1.2 1.3S 1.3M 1.3U cable. IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | 06-07 sti';s you might be able to flash.i haven't tried it yet but im almost positive you can due to the fact we're drivebywire.04-05's are drive by cable which will not allow you to flash but you can certainly log. |

Open the hood of an 04-05 and if you find a Throttle cable by god I will give you the keys to my car. ALL the sti models are Drive by wire, Only the wrx were drive by cable until 06. |
