Default Using AP v2 as a boost gauge

I've used the AP v2 from time to time as a boost gauge to make sure I'm hitting the target for the map. I'm running the 93 oct Stage 1 map on my '08 STI, and when I do a 4th gear pull to around 5k rpm, boost levels off at 18.0. I also notice when I'm idling, and flipping through the live data options, I select boost, and it shows 18.0 for a second. Is 18.0 the highest value the gauge can read, or is that what my boost is at (which is at the target for the map)?

yes, 18psi is the max the AP will show. I had the same issue when i recently had my car protuned. My stock boost guage was showing a boost of 0.135mpa (about 19.5psi), while the AP would stick at 18psi making the guage feature on the AP useless...

The only thing I use my AP's boost gauge for is to check my normal boost gauge. If my boost gauge is showing 15psi and the cobb is pinned at 18.0 then that would indicate that my gauge is probably broken.

Sigh.
