Safe to run Cobb OTS stage 2 non-ACN 91 on CA gas?

So I'm from CA and I always fill up my car with top tier gas, mainly 76.

I went Stage 2 yesterday, uploaded the Stage 2 91 ACN map (CA map), did the vishnu ecu reset trick then went for a test drive. The car felt the exact same as when I just had the TBE, maybe even a little less top end. Boost felt kinda erratic, hard to explain but the car didn't accelerate as smoothly, felt like it was dying off top end much quicker.

Took a chance and uploaded the Stage 2 91 non-ACN, did the vishnu reset and went for a test drive. The car feels so much better, it accelerates much harder than the ACN map. Whats going on here, there shouldn't be that much of a difference between these two maps correct? Apparently it feels way different in my car, acceleration is so strong and smooth to redline now. Is it dangerous to run this map in CA?
