Should i uninstall AP before removing battery? URGENT

Ok, so i just had the instrument cluster malfunction, and after doing a search on here i found i just have to remove both battery terminals for a few seconds and then reconnect them. Should i uninstall my AP before i do this?? Will it mess with the marriage of the AP and ECU?

You'll be fine. The only thing it will do is reflash whatever your realtime map is. If it is the same as your basemap, don't worry.

No it will be fine, it is flashed on your ecu and there until you physically replace it or unmarry the AP. I have had the battery out many of time with no problem.

ahh, i see cool, thanks. When the cluster first malfuntioned, i got kinda scared. I was like "what the f*ck did i do now"
