Default Sti jerking and stutering

I have an 07 sti and I put APS CIA 65, 725 FMIC, BOV and HKS EVC6.

The car is now behaving strange, stutter (serge) on steady 1/4 - 1/2 throttle...3300rpm -4500rpm

BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE...

You get a single jerk of note coming of the throttle on a up hill full throttle.

Can anyone please help????

BOV and CIA with no EM

EDIT: Take the BOV and CIA off or get a protune with them on.

Engine Management???? You are killing your car. Get rid of the BOV.

You have an 07 dude... i mean you will pretty much open a new thread "if you don't remove the CAI and BOV and everything else" with the title ..My engine blew up.. and ppl will see that it is an 07 and go"meh it happens every day" On the side note this is not a lol mater, take the mods off until you can tune it.

Pro-tune or return to stock.

Everything you listed requires a protune to run.

Chances are, your engine is going extremely rich between shifts and possibly dangerously lean while on throttle.

Do two things immediately:
1- Start saving for a new block.
2- Remove all listed mods and revert to stock or get a protune if a tuner is in your area. You could also "email tune".

Listen to what everyone else said in this thread. Engine management is key in your situation.

Start using the search button and find out why a BOV and CAI are not good for your car unless you have a custom tune. The FMIC is a waste unless you plan to upgrade to a bigger turbo. The exhaust just needs engine management to run properly.

Research is your friend before you put anything on your car. Right now you are beating it to death and on an 07..

Also, welcome to the site!

I find it interesting that everyone is focusing on the CAI and BOV but not on the FMIC!!! You put a FMIC without tune what are you smoking???? Your car must really be running like s**t.

TUNE

If he really doesn't an EM isn't he falling into the bad stock map on the 07 with the stutter at 3 grand mark? The stutter may have always been there but now it's just more noticable with the mods? The dealer may not put the latest flash on your car under warranty after these mods. Regardless, listen to everybody here and fix it right away.
