Default Accessport Help Needed

I have used accessports before but I am a little confused on this one.

I have a 2005 STi and it has been married to a V1 AP for awhile. I am bringing it back to stock to take in to the dealers this week.

I plugged in the green connectors, then the AP, selected revert to stock and waited for the percentage readout. Then I left for about 15-20 minutes.

I came back and the screen didn't say finished or anything it just said:

"Choose map to flash".

Is the car back to stock?

I thought it would give me an ok screen or sumthin. When I plug in the AP all it gives me in the "choose a map to flash" screen, no menu. So I am assuming it is stock.....

But in the choose a map list it gives me a stock map option....

Also, I thought you could read CEL codes without the car being married, is that true? If so where do I get to it without acces too a menu?

Thanks a lot guys.

Default Re: Accessport Help Needed

sounds to me like you OK button may have gotten stuck and your AP skipped out of the last screen after being un installed.

It's pretty easy to figure out if the AccessPORT is installed or not. Simply turn the AccessPORT on. If you see the main menu, the AccessPORT is still installed/married. If the AccessPORT boots up and then shows, "please choose a new map to flash to ECU" it is un-installed.

Did you search and not find anything? I figured there would be something. What terms did you use?
