Default Do 07' STi'S have a Black box for the ECU??

I was woundering does anyone know if 07' STi'S have a black box for the ecu which saves all info if the car is ever modded/reflashed? or not?

They do in the EVO 10's my boy cant get a good tune to bypass it, I said to him 2 words "piggy back" that Biyatch! Then he said dude I should of bought a Sti.......Ok he never said that but it would have been sick!

I have come to know that evo 10 can be reflashed by Ecutek.

all new cars have a "black box". i don't know what year cut over would be "new" but it's not infinite storage either. they typically hold something like 10 minutes worth of events (if that much). things like

throttle position
brake application
(most likely) abs activation (on or off)

pretty much the stuff that the ECU and subsystems need for the car to run.

go get a 70's car with mechanical points and no computers and you'll be golden (if you're worried).
