| Junior STI Driver | Hey everyone. I just flashed my car with stage 1 91 oct map via the AP. I used the existing map pre-loaded on the AP. My problem is, I just checked the download section on cobbs site and I see that they now have a version 1.02 Is there any way to tell what version of map I had pre loaded on my AP? I would prefer to have the latest up to date map, but I would prefer not to reflash my basemap. Thanks guys. (BTW: Im preparing a full review) This ad is not endorsed by this member. | STI Driver | I think you are referring to the maps that are designed for those that are either not hitting target boost levels or are spiking. I used the preloaded map and did not experience either of these problems. If you are spiking or not hitting target boost levels you will need to download one of the maps. |

| Professional STI Racer | There is no way of knowing the version number via the AP itself. To view the revision number, you must run the AccessPORT Managment software and view the maps that you have loaded on the AP or load the map that is in question. Right click on the map in question and view properties. The revision and description of each map can be viewed. You can do this while you are sync'ed to the AP or not connected. Hope this helps. |

| Junior STI Driver | Hmmm. All the maps on my AP do not display the revision when the properties button is clicked. I went over to the download section at cobbs site and downloaded the stage one map that they had. Oddly enough this map tells me what version as well as the horsepower numbers. I guess its obvious I had different maps pre-loaded on my AP. No big deal, I will upgrade. |

| Professional STI Racer | Yeah, the maps that were on your AP are the original. I guess they neglected to add a revision number on them. They figure its the original map and no need for a revision number. I checked the original maps too, no revision number. All updated 1.02 maps do have the revision and i'd imagine all other revisions will too. Just to keep them organized on your AP, just title the maps with the revision number. |

To answer your question, I don't know exactly. If you give Cobb a call, i'm sure they will tell you the difference.

IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2003 Trader Rating: (2) | there were problems with the P0420 cat inefficiency code showing up with stage 2, maybe 1.02 fixes that? also i don't remember the HWG maps, i think they added them. |

| Professional STI Racer | I kinda doubt the revised map will take care of any CEL's. Maybe do the mechanical or resistor fix for your DP. The HWG maps were added shortly after the LWG maps were posted. Looks like the only thing they added and revised are the base maps. This is the first time you can download a Stage 1/3 LWG/HWG base maps. |

http://www.wrxforum.com/cgi-bin/ulti...c;f=8;t=000334 it does look like people are seeing less boost, but that may be the learning not catching on yet. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad.
